Muswellbrook residents are being offered the chance to learn the right way to warm up andcool down and proper exercise techniques through two Muswellbrook TAFE outreach courses.
The Introduction to Fitness and Introduction to Sports Massage courses have had early success rates with eager participants jumping at the chance to get involved.

“It’s been really helpful to be able to show the players how to warm up and cool down correctly.
“It’s been an extra sting in the bow to go along with my first aid and other training courses.”
Mr Witt said since doing the course he had noticed moreplayers were willing to havemassages to loosen muscles pre and post match.
Mr Martin, who recently turned 70, said there werebenefits to gain from the course for people of any age.
“If you live a healthy life you have got a chance of living longer and enjoying life a lot better,” Mr Martin said.
“You can be any age and still do and achieve anything.”
The courses are run at Muswellbrook PCYC and club membership is the only requirement to take part in either course.
