The forward line of Harrison Edwards, Tiffany Gossage, Ethan Henry, Marshall Henry, Sienna Ball and Peter Temby combined well from the first whistle and immediately had the Saints’ defence under pressure.

Dumbleyung was able to score three goals before the half time break and spirits were high going into the second half.

The Sharks’ goalkeeper and full backs tackled hard following the break and only allowed the Dumbleyung team to score once more for the game, which occurred through Harrison Edwards at the 10-minute mark.

The Dumbleyung defenders displayed great teamwork and combined well throughout the match.

The final scores were Dumbleyung 4 to Saints 0.

The goal scorers were Harrison Edwards with two and Ethan and Marshall Henry with one each.

Most valuable players were awarded to defenders Harley Dale and Jack Pearce.

This week’s fixture is in Narrogin against Dingoes at 9.30am, with the B-grade men playing Williams at Williams at 3pm.

Thank you to the players and spectators of both teams who partook of the sausage sizzle following the game.

A total of $90 was forwarded to the Dumbleyung Netball Club to support the Pink Day fundraising effort for Louisa Dare.
