WAGIN Ladies’ Golf Club members played American foursomes on a glorious day last week.
The club welcomed back Donna Hodge, who has had a long break from golf but proved that she hasn’t lost the touch, winning the opening day with partner Marilyn Brockway.
Nearest the pin on No. 8 was won by Hodge and Berryl Sims surprised herself with a fantastic nearest the pin on No. 3.
The club thanked Betty Spooner and Robin Dunham for their generous sponsorship for the day and to the ladies who brought afternoon tea.
The ladies now play on Saturdays and those who are interested in trying their hand at golf should ring Fe Thompson on 0427 852 036 or Bronwyn Hegarty on 0427 042 030 so they can arrange a game.
