The Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers’ Association Awards has recognised The Advocateas a finalist for Newspaper of the Year, Best Digital News Destination (website), Best News Destination: Mobile or App (iPhone app), Best Branding (Reader Snaps Calendar), Best Branding (iPhone App), Best Events Marketing (Devonport Food and Wine Guide) and chief photographerGrant Wells’ image of Dave Roberts’Thompsontripping through the tulips for Best Lifestyle Photograph of the Year.
