Seven junior goalkeepers were put through their paces learning basics such as foot movement and correct stance.

The clinic then progressed on to more specialised skills such as hand deflections and ball clearance.

In other news, the Upper Great Southern Hockey Association congratulated Iszaac Milentis and Oliver Harding on being selected to play in the WA Under 12 State Schoolboys team.

The boys will be part of the squad competing in the national tournament in Adelaide from August 4-10.

The duo has had many trips to Perth for training and games and has also competed in the Under 13 State Championships, where they came third in A-grade and they also attended a training camp in Bunbury on July 21 and 22.
