The course was littered with debris following the recent violent weather. The clean-up was a massive task, with some tree branches being particularly large.
THE damage to Dumbleyung’s Lake View golf course from strong winds on June 10 necessitated the members holding a working bee on Friday afternoon to clear the debris.
The members want the course in ship shape condition as the club is hosting the Great Southern Championships on June 30 and July 1.
This will be a two-day event, with 18 holes of stroke each day and it is expected that about 70-80 people from throughout the Great Southern will come and play in the championships.
