Williams set the pace at a high speed in the first quarter but the Bulldogs matched their game and were in front by one goal when the whistle blew to end the first quarter.

The second quarter saw some significant position changes on court, which slowed the game down to a speed which allowed more consistency.

Jess Clifton in goal keeper held off her shooter spectacularly allowing them less goal scoring opportunities.

The mid-court players did a wonderful job of slowing Williams down making the Wagin game more accurate.

By the third quarter the Bulldogs were in the groove.

Emily Gillespie and Michelle Andrews were almost faultless in goals, working together with grace and skill.

Unfortunately Kelly Edwards collided hard with a Williams player and came off injured for the rest of the game.

Williams came back onto the court in the final quarter and with determination started to close the score notably.

Unfazed, the Bulldogs held it together until the final whistle and came through with a deserving win.

Well done to all players for working together as a team.

Umpire votes for best players went to Cassi-Dee Vandeburg, Kelly Edwards and Michelle Andrews.
